Access Control System

Access control is a security technique that regulates who or what can view or use resources in a computing environment. Access control decisions are made by comparing the credentials to an access control list. This look-up can be done by a host or server, by an access control panel, or by a reader. Logical access control limits connections to computer networks, system files and data.
